Why does the starting capacitor of the electric motor not work?
Hello. There is a three-phase motor converted to network 220, approximately 3-3.5 kW (no passport). I picked up a working capacitor for 90 microfarads (if you put more, the motor heats up), the launcher costs 600 microfarads. When I start only the engine everything works well, but when I connect it to the belt drive, the starting capacitor seems to not work, the speed is set at the expense of the working capacitor, and when I press the start (I have a special starter), the engine only slows down and buzzes. Hello! To start, ring the starting capacitor, maybe it is broken or has lost capacity. After that, you will already understand what needs to be done. I think that everything will be decided by replacing this capacitor.
