Is it possible to install an incandescent lamp instead of an ammeter?
Is it possible to change the ammeter to a conventional incandescent lamp on any electrical installation? Tell me!
Hello! No incandescent lamp can not replace an ammeter! The resistance of the ammeter should be as low as possible so as not to affect the measured circuit. An incandescent lamp will have a fairly high resistance.
But why do so? To indicate normal / abnormal current? If so, then they use a current relay or digital electronic devices and sensors.
p.s. What do you call an electrical installation in the context of your question?
