How to repair light on a cooker hood?
My mom stopped turning on the light on the Elinor cooker hood. Bulbs are whole. What else could be the problem? Tell me please. Thank.
Hello! There may be one of three options:
- The cartridges are not working. You need to remove them and see if the tongue normally reaches the back of the bulb.
- The exhaust hood wiring is faulty - check the wires for an open, check the voltage on the cartridge, if any - see paragraph 1.
- The light switch does not work - you can check by dialing whether its contacts are closed.
